Victor Dimoulis proposed and took care of all the necessary procedures in order to increase the municipal facilities that will be able to support the Municipality and the citizens in the effort for effective separate collection and management of their waste, further, the Big Green Point that comes from earlier funding and of the small Green Point that comes from the European INTERREG programme, with the implementing body the Region of the Ionian Islands. The specific municipal facilities are the following:
1. Proposal and assistance to the Cleaning Service for the "Supply of 5 recycling kiosks - "smart" Recycling Corners for their placement in all the municipal units of the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands".
2. Recommendation and assistance to the Cleaning Service for the submission of an application to a financing programme of the Ministry of the Environment for the "Supply of 5 to 7 Mobile Green Points". The application is awaiting approval.
3. Recommendation and assistance to the Cleaning Service for the submission of an application to the "ANTONIS TRITSIS" financial programme for the Supply of 10 "smart" Recycling Corners with a Deposit Refund System (DRS). The application is awaiting approval.
