Victor Dimoulis was the responsible person for the preparation and submission of the participation file, the successful acceptance, and the overall successful response of the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands within the programme of the European Commission with the title "100 Intelligent Cities Challenge - ICC''.
The Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands joined for the first time in its general history, a competitive programme of the European Commission ("ICC - 100 Intelligent Cities Challenge"), presenting from the beginning its desire to finally extrovert and network with the most well-known European cities, something it had and has an absolute need for, thus ending the continuous isolation experienced by the island in all the previous years.
Through the specific European programme, the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands received guidance and tailored strategic advice, in the following axes which it chose in order of priority:
City goal 1 – «Waste management and circular economy»
City goal 2 – «eGovernment and digitising public services»
City goal 3 – «Scaling up renewable energy solutions and energy-efficiency»
City goal 4 – «Smart and green mobility and transport»
